In late 2010, Amy Calandrino, CCIM a/k/a the Office Space Queen founded Beyond Commercial – a commercial real estate firm serving the space needs of businesses. From tenant representation for office, retail or warehouse space to sales and leasing of investment properties, Beyond Commercial’s agents provide concierge level service to business owners.

Amy organically built this business on a shoestring budget during the economic down cycle while still working full-time as a business and real estate paralegal. Amy eventually transitioned to the role of part-time law firm administrator so focus full-time on her commercial real estate firm. Since that time, Amy’s business has grown significantly through repeat customers, referrals, and relationships forged through Leadership Winter Park and many other peer and community groups.

Prior to Beyond Commercial, Amy graduated from Valencia College with an Associates of Arts degree and honors certificate. Thereafter, she attended Rollins College on scholarship and earned a Bachelors of Arts in English and Writing Minor. Amy previously served as President of the Orange County Bar Association’s Paralegal Section and was also appointed by past Florida Bar President Mayanne Downs to study mandatory paralegal regulation. Amy also published several articles in the legal community and has spoken on numerous occasions to groups large and small on topics ranging from contracts to trials.

Amy first fell in love with Winter Park after taking courses at Valencia College’s Winter Park campus and later attending Rollins College. In 2014, Amy and her husband moved their business to Park Avenue (above Chico’s) and then moved their residence shortly thereafter. In her free time, Amy finds plenty of things to keep her occupied and tends to maintain a to-do list even on the weekend. Amy enjoys cooking, taking @DukeWhippet to the farmers’ market or dog park, reading, knitting, playing the piano, wining and dining with loved ones, traveling, or working out.

Amy is a graduate of Leadership Winter Park Class XXVI and serves as Leadership Winter Park’s Alumni Council’s President-Elect. She is also Winter Park Chamber Ambassador and was recently named the Winter Park Chamber’s 2017 Ambassador of the Year.  Amy also serves on Florida CCIM Chapter’s Central District Board of Directors and will be it’s 2019 Treasurer.
